But the Kindle Fire HDX – that is the latest device and a direct competitor to iPad Air. DisplayMate experts conducted a series of in-depth testing, diagnosing the brightness, contrast, color accuracy, viewing angles, and much more.
Display iPad Air, compared to the iPad 4 shows “not revolutionary, but very significant” improvements: reduced reflectivity, increased brightness and contrast. This is due to non-use of amorphous silicon and the transition to technology IGZO (the first letters of the elements: indium, gallium and zinc). According to experts DisplayMate, new technology has become “the most important improvement” iPad Air and secured 57% increase in energy efficiency compared to the previous generation iPad.
