Samsung will equip the smartphone Galaxy S5 Neo Exynos 7580 chip with 8 cores – 3DNews

The company Samsung, reported online sources, is about to introduce a smartphone Galaxy S5 Neo – an updated version of last year’s flagship Galaxy S5.

The original model Galaxy S5 (in the photo ), recall, used Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 801 with four 2.46 GHz cores Krait-400 (ARMv7) and the graphics controller Adreno 330. The volume of RAM is 2 GB.

In the model Galaxy S5 Neo, judging of published information, Samsung will apply its own chip development Exynos 7580. It consists of eight cores ARM Cortex-A53 with 64-bit instructions. Clock speed reaches 1.6 GHz. Graphic subsystem Exynos 7580 is made based on the Mali-T720 controller with support for OpenGL ES 3.1 and OpenCL 1.1.
