Samsung Galaxy S7-based Snapdragon 820 scored 5423 points in the Geekbench – Overclockers.ru

For a long time there are rumors that Samsung will launch its next flagship Galaxy S7 in two versions, based on different SoC platforms. One version will run on Samsung Exynos 8890, while the other is equipped with a system-on-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. The test results of the first platform has repeatedly appeared on the web. And now we published the results of test versions of smartphone based on Snapdragon 820, so that we have the opportunity to compare the two platforms.

For comparison, the version of the Samsung Galaxy S7-based Exynos 8890 was able to score 2294 points in single-core mode and 6908 in the multi-core. This indicates performance Snapdragon 820, especially in a single-core mode. Recall that this CPU has four cores Kryo, two of which work at a frequency of 2.2 GHz, and the other two with a frequency of 1.6 – 1.7 GHz.
