The Russian division of Samsung Electronics announced the start of sales of the tablet Galaxy Tab E. It is designed for organizations of educational sphere. The company also offers specialized software MagicIWB to build interactive lessons.
The tablet received display with a diagonal of 9.6 inches and a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. The hardware basis was the quad-core processor Spreadtrum SC7730SE, 1,5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal flash memory, which is complemented by removable media microSD up to 128 GB. Galaxy Tab E has a 5 megapixel main camera with autofocus and 2-megapixel front camera. The plate has a thickness of 8.5 mm, and weighs 490 grams. Samsung Galaxy Tab E is represented in white and black colors.
Software Samsung MagicIWB adds tablet functionality allows teachers to conduct full-time and distance classes, supervise students on the tablet, restrict the list of running applications in the classroom, as well as make handwritten comments on the broadcast material.
