Rumor: Galaxy S7 will be released in three versions – BBC News

The next flagship Android-smartphone Samsung – Galaxy S7 – will be released in three variations. New items that can be presented in the spring of 2016, will differ from each other by different processors. Presumably, one of the models will get Exynos 7422 chipset, which previously could get already made PHABLET Galaxy Note 5.

According to the website SamMobile citing informed sources, a device with this processor will be sold in India. For the European markets, as well as Korea and Japan, Samsung will release version of the Galaxy S7 chip Exynos 8890 (Exynos M1 processor cores with Mongoose), and for China and the United States – a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. tell you different chipsets on the price of the device is not specified.

Earlier, Samsung has already released its flagship product in two versions for different markets: Qualcomm and chip Exynos own design. However, in Galaxy S6, which was released in April , a company from the venture declined – supposedly a model with Snapdragon 810 gets very hot during the tests.

As a result, Samsung has equipped the flagship unit of 64-bit Exynos 7420 processor, which is built on the architecture of ARM big.LITTLE (includes 4 core Cortex-A57 processor with a clock frequency of 2.1 GHz and 4 th – Cortex-A54 1.5 GHz).
