According to sources, Samsung Galaxy S7 can be mounted sensor Sony IMX300, which is already used in Sony Xperia Z5. Currently, the Korean giant is in talks with Sony for the supply of sensors. It is noted that Sony originally planned to use this sensor exclusively for family Xperia.

In terms of specifications Sony IMX300 sensor has a resolution of 25 megapixels and has a hybrid AF system, which worked well in Sony Xperia Z5 (focusing time is only 0.03 seconds). But experts DxOMark altogether awarded him the title of the best camera for mobile devices.
