Foldable Samsung Galaxy X with a flexible 4K-screen debut in 2017 – Ferra

According to the profile of the resource SamMobile, in 2017, Samsung plans to launch five flagship smartphones. This will include a model Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 edge, Galaxy Note 7, Galaxy Note 7 edge, as well as the Galaxy X.


The first four models will receive the Super AMOLED displays with a resolution of 2.5K and RBG-subpixels. In turn, Samsung Galaxy X is a foldable smartphone with 4K-display and PenTile-matrix.

Folding smartphone previously figured in the leaks under the name Project Valley. Presumably, it is folded in half, like a wallet that facilitates carrying it in your pocket.

According to last year’s rumors, Project Valley diagonal display of 5.1 inches instead of 5.7 inches, as previously thought. It is also expected 820 Snapdragon processor, 3 GB of the RAM, a slot for microSD cards and non-removable battery. However, in 2017 the technical parameters may undergo changes.
