Smartphones Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in the United States bypassed Sales iPhone 6s and 6s Plus – iXBT.com

Samsung is the undisputed leader in the smartphone market. Other manufacturers are still quite far from the Korean giant’s sales volumes, when considered as a whole.

But if you talk about some models, it is often Apple devices significantly outperform any other smartphones on the market. The reasons for this are many, but now is not about them.

According to Kantar Worldpanel, sales of Apple smartphones have fallen so much that even in the US, where the company’s positions are strongest in the second quarter 16% of all smartphones sold accounted for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, whereas the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus had only 14.6%. That is, the flagships bypassed Samsung flagship sales (in fact, almost all) Apple smartphones. If we talk about sales of smartphones, the Samsung has occupied 37% of the market, while Apple captured 29% in the US.

It is noted that 5% of smartphone shoppers Samsung went to them with Apple devices. The reverse castling held 14% of the buyers. Among the owners of Cupertino giant machines 88% intend to remain loyal to the company. Samsung have such users 86%.

It is also interesting that in the US and UK top ten most popular smartphones for the quarter consisted entirely of Samsung and Apple devices.
