Owner, SEC Galaxy have to suspend construction of the second phase and to send the draft of the entire complex on a second examination. Such an order issued by the Commission, which was investigating the reasons for the collapse of the roof over the “Auchan”, reports REGNUM.

January 13, the Commission announced the completion of the investigation of the reasons of state of emergency in the Mall. We will remind, in the evening of 26 December in the Department “Books” store “Auchan” the roof caved in. In the trading hall poured “snow” height with shelving. After the first collapse the area of damage amounted to 50 sq. m, later increased to 100 squares.
the Commission has come to the conclusion that the owner violated requirements for the operation of the building — administration, the SEC had not cleared the snow from the roof.
Also the regional state Inspectorate has withdrawn already issued an opinion on compliance with the standards executed on the facility. Now the owner will have to replace and strengthen the deformed structures, then pass a second examination.
the head of the state Andrey Stepanov has informed REGNUM that legally will need to check the status of fire safety systems, which suffered from the collapse of the roof.
representatives of the owner — the company “the First” — has not yet provided any comment on the incident.
Recall, “Auchan” opened in the shopping center Galaxy on 17 November and has become the anchor tenant of the first stage. Fully SEC planned to launch in I-II quarter of 2017.
