British mobile accessories retailer MobileFun has posted a video of the cases for the future of the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. And in the video they are compared with the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and infamous Note 7.
Video shows the differences in sizes, the location of ports and other features. Including, again demonstrates the mysterious cutout similar to the compartment for the stylus S-Pen in the Note series smartphones. Also there is a lack of charging port, which is seen as a hint to wireless charging.
According to the latest leaks, the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be held on 29 March, and the sales will start on the 17th week of the year, i.e. between April 24 and April 30. Estimated price is 849 dollars.
Recall that on the date of announcement of the next-generation flagship smartphone, the Samsung go is quite contradictory rumors. So, earlier it was reported about the announcement at the MWC 2017, which will take place in Barcelona from 27 February to 2 March and the start of sales is expected for April. According to another version, Samsung has planned a separate event in April to launch the Samsung Galaxy S8. According to one leak from the Korean sources, Samsung may unveil its new flagship on 15 April 2017.
According to earlier rumors, Samsung’s flagship 2017 can come in two versions — a 6.2-inch display “from edge to edge” and 5.7-inch curved screen. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will feature dual camera but it will not be simple in the Samsung Galaxy S8.
Presumably, Galaxy S8 will get improved camera, Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) to work with virtual reality devices, which will occupy the entire front panel, and the fingerprint scanner will be built directly into the screen. Hardware-based Galaxy S8 will be a 10-nanometer processors Qualcomm Snapdragon and Exynos 830 8895. Mention new voice assistant on the basis of the Viv, NFC with MST for the payment service, Samsung Pay. Smartphone predict stereo speakers under the brand Harman and the transition to the USB Type-C with release from a standard 3.5-mm headphone Jack.
