Samsung has introduced a series of tablets Galaxy Tab A – Ferra

Samsung has introduced a new series of Russian tablets – Samsung Galaxy Tab A, rumors of which have already appeared in our news. Samsung Galaxy Tab A in two models – with a screen diagonal of 8 and 9.7 inches. And the aspect ratio of the screen is 4: 3, which is unusual for tablets Samsung. As explained by representatives of the company, before they saw the main function of tablet video playback (this is the best screen 16: 9 or 16:10), but the latest polls showed that the most common use of the “pill” – a reading.

Characteristics of both versions are identical except, of course, the size of the screen, as well as the amount of RAM: version with support for LTE on board will be 2 GB vs. 1.5 GB model without a cell module. Full list of known characteristics is as follows:

The plates will work on Android Lolipop, and a set of pre-installed software will enter office suite Microsoft Office 365 with a paid subscription for one year.

Home sales scheduled for April 2015. Samsung has named the price, but asks them to consider minimal – everything can change. 9.7 inch version of the Galaxy Tab A will cost 20,990 rubles per module version without LTE, and the model with support for LTE will cost 24,990 rubles. Prices for a compact 8-inch modification below: 16990 rubles and 20990 rubles, respectively.

Available colors – gray, white, blue. Externally tablets differ only, in fact, the size and the fact that the smaller version of the camera noticeably sticks out of the back panel.
