Buying a smartphone, and especially related to the premium segment of the market, many buyers are in full confidence that all instances of this model contains within itself the same set of basic components and have identical performance characteristics. However, as it turned out, in the case of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge things a little differently.
Initially, the duo was supposed to supply the flagship rear cameras Sony IMX240, however, due to high demand in the past both by Samsung, and other manufacturers, the Japanese electronics giant has been unable to provide the necessary volume of supply. To solve the problem, Samsung had to start complement Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge along with the IMX240 more PV modules and proprietary ISOCELL.
On the eve of SamMobile website published examples of the pictures taken in the same conditions in Auto mode, both versions of the smartphone (except represent only the last two shots – in their case was included mode HDR).
The difference is visible in all photos, but for the average user, it is hardly crucial. This fact officials Samsung partnership with PV modules from different vendors do not deny, but claim that all the parts, regardless of who and where they are produced, are strict quality control.
