Android-smartphone Samsung Galaxy S6 may debut at CES 2015 – Overclockers.ru

The South Korean company Samsung is preparing for the announcement of its new smartphone Galaxy S6, which will replace the current flagship Galaxy S5. And wait for the news, it seems, is very long.

According to SamMobile with reference to the Korean media, Samsung may have introduced a new flagship at CES 2015 (Consumer Electronics Show), which will be held from 6 to 9 January of the following year in Las Vegas. At the same time will be announced a special version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 with a curved screen, although earlier it was repor ted that she was not destined to see the light.

It is noted that the South Korean manufacturer expects to sell about 45 million copies of the Samsung Galaxy S6, including 10 million pieces version with a curved screen.

I must say that this information should be taken with sound skepticism, especially given that the annual sources say that Samsung is announcing its next flagship Galaxy S at the beginning of the year. In fact, the company does not comply with a strict schedule when it comes to the release of its new flagship smartphone.

Also, journalists SamMobile it was reported that Samsung has suspended development of a new line of smartphones Samsung Galaxy U. It is possible that this is due to the launch of the flagship Galaxy S6. By the way, one of the representatives of the new line should be a smartphone with model number SM-U500F. Its technical features include an eight-mobile Samsung Exynos 5433 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory with expandable memory card due to MicroSD, 5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of Full HD cameras and a pair of 16-megapixel main and 8 megapixel front. He will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop on board, will be supported by cellular networks and 4G LTE battery to 2360 mAh.
