Samsung Electronics Galaxy smartphone patented folding in half. In patent noticed Patently Mobile portal.

The patent describes a structure which differs from the traditional phone-clamshell layout. Instead, to reduce the screen and add a hardware keyboard, the Samsung experts suggest we take the classic layout of the smartphone, where the screen covers the front of the device as a whole.

When folded in half smartphone offers access to the terminal, which, according to the accompanying illustrations, can be used to charge the gadget.

It was reported earlier that perhaps, the Samsung smartphone will present the serial-cot with a folding screen in 2017. Presumably, the family of smartphones with a folding screen will be called Galaxy X.
