At the moment, the two companies are discussing three devices, one of which is at a fairly advanced stage of development. However, today the Amazon and HTC have not yet determined the start date of any of them.
Recall that the rumors of Amazon exit the smartphone market have been circulating for more than two years. Now company sources claim that it is unlikely the company will release the device in the current year and the release is likely to be postponed to 2014.
Officially, the company does not comment on this information, the press service of the online retailer said that this year the company is not going to produce smartphones, but the discussion of future plans abandoned. Also, do not give comments and HTC, claiming that the company “is constantly in search of new opportunities and discussions.” Ben Ho, marketing director of HTC, said that his company is now developing devices under its own brand, but in principle from the co-branded devices, it also does not give up.
