Barnes & Noble and Samsung introduced a premium tablet Galaxy Tab S2 Nook – 3DNews

Companies Barnes & amp; Noble and Samsung announced a new tablet in the family Nook: unit premium based on the model Galaxy Tab S2 with screens of 8 inches.

Mini PC is built on an 8-core processor that combines four cores with a frequency 1.9 GHz and four cores with a frequency of 1.3 GHz. The chip operates in tandem with 3 GB of RAM. Capacity flash drive is 32 GB; has a microSD slot supporting cards up to a capacity of 128 GB.

The screen has a resolution of QXGA – 2048 × 1536 pixels. In the frontal part of the installed 2.1-megapixel camera; located on the back of the camera with 8-megapixel sensor.

The equipment includes wireless adapters Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 LE, as well as the receiver of satellite navigation systems GPS / GLONASS. Dimensions are 134,8 × 198,6 × 5,6 mm, weight – about 265 grams. The tablet is powered by a battery capacity of 4000 mAh.

Galaxy Tab S2 Nook operates under the operating system Android 5.0. The device is tightly integrated with the services of Barnes & amp; Noble: users will be able to gain access to the most diverse digital content, including books and magazines, mobile apps, movies, TV materials and comics.
