Specifications Galaxy S6 edge + can be called a maximum on the market, we have already repeatedly wrote. Because of the failure of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, eight-chip Samsung Exynos 7420 is currently the best ratio performance / power consumption.
That’s why for the first time line of Galaxy Note received the same (but not more powerful) chipset as flagships from the first half of the year – Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. The increase in power was simply no need (to somehow show progress in large flagship decided not to install 3, and 4 GB of RAM).

Both smartphones have their “chips” – the Samsung is an unusual display from Apple – an innovative system of 3D Touch, senses the force pressing on the screen and triggers depending on her or that action.
Appearance and ergonomics or Beauty requires sacrifice
It turned out that this section contains both the strongest and weakest sides.
The design is clearly catches the eye – metal, glass, nice body color ( we tested was a “platinum”), but the main thing – curved screen.
Thanks to an unusual display Samsung Galaxy S6 edge + looks very expensive and unusual. But the same element makes it difficult to use a smartphone.
Pay attention to the profile of the smartphone – end rounded on both sides, forming a ledge in the middle. This, on the one hand, a fixing device, preventing it from slipping, and on the other – a bit “cuts” arm. It is not critical, but complete with a very narrow lock button and power, delivers certain inconveniences.
Another minus – soiled. Smartphone instantly collects fingerprints. They are easily removed, but all the same.
Everything else is good – the controls are in place, a speaker with 3.5mm connector located at the bottom slot nanoSIM-card – at the top. Home button protrudes slightly from the fingerprint scanner and camera is heavily favored not spoil the overall picture.
Build excellent. Glass Gorilla Glass 4 proved to be excellent even in last year’s Galaxy Note 4 (a review on 42.TUT.BY) – You can not worry about scratches, unless wearing a smart phone in one pocket with keys.
Due to the relatively small weight and size of the smartphone is quite convenient to use with one hand. Additionally, you can activate the “one-handed” mode in the settings screen.
Screen
At the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge + screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels – the density is such that the individual points hard to discern even very close range.
The display is very bright, the sun automatically activates the most brilliant lights. The viewing angles are maximum, the colors do not fade even at the maximum slope.
Excess “virulence» Super AMOLED matrix can be removed in the settings by choosing a more relaxing color profile.
The touch screen responds even to light touch, including wet hands. Oleophobic coating wonderful – finger glides without any delays.
A small inconvenience, again, is a curved screen (together with thin frames) . While working with the smartphone with one hand, the base of the thumb constantly strives to touch the side edge of the screen.
Performance
As already mentioned above, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge + boasts a productive processor Exynos 7 Octa. RAM compared to S6 edge increased from 3 to 4 GB – new rails for the flagship Android-Gadget.
In reality, the smartphone does not “slow”, all games, even the heaviest, like Modern Combat 5 go to the highest setting. This smartphone is hardly heated even after 10-15 minutes of the game.

Battery life
In pursuit of the weight and thickness of the Samsung decided to make the battery capacity of 3000 mAh total. Even in last year’s Note 4 it was 3220 mAh.
However, there need to be aware of economical Super AMOLED display and energy-efficient 14-nanometer processor.
In our tests in the “hard” mode ( games at maximum backlight mixed with surfing the Internet via 3G and Wi-Fi) smartphone lasted about 10 hours.
In the normal everyday use (synchronization of social networks, about 1.5 hours using the Internet, an hour calls and the same number of games) gadget survived more than a day.

I am glad that the regular charging the battery in the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge + is fully charged in just 1.5 hours. If you use the wireless module, this figure increases to 2 hours, which is also very little.

Camera
