Announced in August, the clock Galaxy Gear S2, of which Samsung absentia told much the day before, finally saw the light. In Berlin, in parallel with the IFA 2015 the company held a presentation and demonstrated the full sample.

The watch has a round-shaped screen, which is ringed bezel – rotating rim, and this is the main control. With it, you can scroll through the screens, select the shortcut, scroll through the text, and so on. D. Gear S2 do not work on Android Wear, like most smart watches, and on its own operating system Tizen. Battery capacity 250 mAh should, the promises of Samsung, enough for 2-3 days of battery life, and recharge you can only watch via wireless charging – this will take about two and a half hours.

The new module is equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and in some countries will sell a version with support for 3G. However, even there the SIM-cars there – Samsung is experimenting with e-SIM, that is, virtual, software “SIM cards”. However, none of the Russian operators have not yet reported on the readiness to support the e-SIM.
The watch will be sold in two versions: the minimalistic Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic in black body with a metallic strap. Home sales – in October. Officially, the price has not been announced, but on the sidelines talking about 350 euros per ordinary and 400 euros for the classic version (price discount – for kits with the most simple straps).
