Meizu Pro 5 proved to be more powerful than the Samsung Galaxy S6 – 3DNews

Announced last week Meizu Pro 5 is based on SoC Exynos 7420 – the one that also serves as a basis for the Samsung Galaxy S6. In this case, it is logical to expect him similar to the Korean fellow performance, however, according to the manufacturer from China, his offspring shows slightly better performance.

A significant advantage of the Meizu Pro 5 before the Samsung Galaxy S6 was found PHABLET developers in two popular benchmarks – AnTuTu and Geekbench. In the first case the result of “Chinese” was 77 768 points, the second – 5593 points (in multi-core mode). The corresponding figures Galaxy S6 modest – 68 944 and 5058 “parrots”. Won Pro 5 and a temperature test (lower graph), being 1-3 degrees colder. How Meizu managed to achieve such figures, the company did not specify, although we can assume that the engineers had done some work on optimization. But, anyway, classified as an eye pleasing results is none other than the obvious marketing ploy.

Recall that Meizu Pro 5 premiere took place on 23 September, and its sales will start October 12, 2015. The device is 5.7 inch AMOLED-display with Full HD resolution and glass 2.5D, 21-megapixel main photomodule Sony IMX230 interface USB Type-C. PHABLET offered in two configurations – with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory and 4 GB of “RAM” and 64 GB built-in storage. The first modification will be sold in China for $ 439, and the second is estimated at $ 490. Information on prices and terms of the appearance of new products in Russia will be announced later.
