Samsung Electronics has launched a flexible AMOLED display on the new production earlier than planned, as the demand for smart phones Galaxy S6 Edge, which use these displays, exceeded expectations. The production line A3 will enable Samsung Display to increase production volumes in the two and a half times – from 2 to 5 million screens per month. Production is already running, although earlier it was planned to be operational in June. The official representative of Samsung Display refused to comment on the company’s plans and volumes of manufacture of curved screens.
